HALO® TRIBRID™ Laser Skin Resurfacing

Non-Ablative Fractionated Technology

What Is HALO TRIBRID?

HALO TRIBRID is a fractional laser resurfacing treatment developed by Sciton. It combines three proven wavelengths (2940 nm, 1927 nm, and 1470 nm) to target the skin’s surface, middle, and deeper layers.

Each wavelength can be adjusted independently, allowing your provider to customize the treatment’s depth, intensity, and coverage. Depending on your needs, the wavelengths may be delivered together or in selected combinations.

This versatility makes it possible to create treatments ranging from a lighter complexion refresh to more comprehensive correction of texture, pigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scarring.

Am I a Candidate for HALO TRIBRID?

HALO TRIBRID may be appropriate for women and men who want to improve visible skin damage while avoiding the extended recovery associated with more aggressive, fully ablative resurfacing procedures.

You may be a candidate if you are concerned about:

  • Sun damage or discoloration
  • Rough or uneven texture
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dullness or loss of radiance
  • Several skin concerns occurring at the same time

Because the treatment is highly customizable, it can be adjusted for different skin types, concerns, and treatment goals. However, laser treatment is not appropriate for every patient. Your provider will evaluate your skin, medical history, medications, recent sun exposure, and treatment goals before recommending a procedure.

What Can HALO TRIBRID Treat?

HALO TRIBRID can be customized to address several skin concerns simultaneously, including:

  • Sun damage
  • Brown spots and uneven pigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dullness
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Crepey-looking skin
  • Early and advanced signs of aging
  • Overall skin quality

Common treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, and other areas affected by sun damage or visible skin aging.

Halo TriBrid Laser Treatment FAQs

Traditional HALO combines two wavelengths to treat the surface and deeper layers of the skin. HALO TRIBRID adds a third wavelength associated with MOXI, expanding the treatment’s ability to address superficial pigmentation and restore brightness. The three wavelengths can be used together or in customized combinations based on your skin’s needs.

A consultation with one of our Medical Aesthetician's will ensure you are a good candidate for this treatment.

Common treatment areas include the face, neck, and chest. HALO TRIBRID may also be used on other areas with sun damage, uneven texture, or visible signs of aging. Your Renaissance Plastic Surgery provider will determine whether the treatment is appropriate for your area of concern.

A topical anesthetic is typically applied before treatment to improve comfort. Patients may feel warmth or heat as the laser passes over the skin. The HALO TRIBRID handpiece also includes integrated cooling to help make treatment more comfortable.

The laser portion of the procedure commonly takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. Your total appointment will be longer to allow time for preparation and topical numbing.

Downtime depends on the intensity of your customized treatment. Patients commonly experience redness, swelling, warmth, roughness, and flaking. Many patients plan for approximately three to five days of social downtime, although redness may last longer after a more intensive treatment.

Many patients begin noticing brighter, smoother-looking skin approximately one week after treatment. Improvements may continue over the following weeks and months as the skin’s natural renewal response progresses.
