Current Openings
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance coordination, or healthcare administration
- Working knowledge of insurance plans (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding basics - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systems
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and claims processing
- Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and patient service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CPB (Certified Professional Biller)
- Experience with claim denials, appeals, and revenue cycle management
Knowledge of plastic surgery billing - Experience handling high patient volume or multi-provider practices
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and merchant accounts
- Process payroll support and coordinate with external payroll provider
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly and year-end reporting
- Assist Practice Administrator in inventory management retail products
Administrative & Office Support
- Provide administrative support to practice leadership
- Manage vendor relationships and office supply procurement
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and practice policies
- Assist with special projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of bookkeeping experience (medical practice experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Experience in a multi-provider or high-revenue practice environment preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic medicine
- Familiarity with practice management software Nextech
- Experience handling high-volume transactions and retail product sales
